We spend $600 to $700 billion a year of DOD, why not spend $500 million a year on a Gun Buy Back program?
When Uncle Fred gets old he might want to make some money on his old guns, or when Uncle Fred passes, his wife doesn't always know what to do with Fred's gun collection. If we can stop the sale of these military guns and the high capacity clips in our society and start removing some of the unwanted guns with a serious buy back program, it might contribute to a long run improvement.
If you want to keep the guns you now have, not problem, make sure they are safe, but if not, we will help you make a profit on them by selling them to US to be destroyed.
